opportunities for Community volunteers

Every day, countless individuals face legal challenges without the knowledge, resources, or support to navigate them. At Center for Elder Law & Justice, we believe everyone deserves access to justice—regardless of income, background, or circumstance.

But we can't do it alone. We rely on compassionate, committed volunteers from our community to help extend our reach and strengthen our impact. Whether you can give a few hours a month or want to become more deeply involved, we welcome your support. Training is provided, and your contribution—big or small—matters deeply.

You don’t need a law degree to make a real impact.

  • Program Support: Support clients directly through our programs! For example, in our Financial Management Program, we equip clients with the tools and knowledge they need to take control of their finances and build a more secure future. You become a vital resource in someone's journey toward financial independence!

  • Administrative Assistance: Keep our operations smooth with your attention to detail.

  • Community Outreach: Support our community events by sharing information about legal rights and available services.

  • Pro Bono Legal Work (for attorneys and law students): Take on a case, assist in legal research, or mentor new advocates.

Ways You Can Help:

  • Empower Vulnerable Communities
Your time and talent help people facing eviction, abuse, immigration hurdles, and more.

  • Learn and Grow
Gain exposure to the legal system, build new skills, and work alongside attorneys, advocates, and fellow changemakers.

  • Be Part of the Solution
Join a diverse and passionate network of volunteers who believe in equal justice under the law.
