PrideLaw offers free civil legal services to LGBTQIA+ individuals across Western New York. The program is dedicated to promoting equity, improving health outcomes, and enhancing the overall quality of life for members of the local LGBTQIA+ community. Within the PrideLaw program, Aging with Pride caters to older members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

  • PrideLaw can put legal protections in place to help insulate the LGBTQIA+ families currently navigating an ever-changing legal landscape through services like advance planning, second parent adoption, and wills.

How much does it cost to change my legal name and gender marker?

  • Legal services provided by PrideLaw are always free. Some cases may involve outside fees, such as court filing fees, that PrideLaw cannot cover. However, PrideLaw can help low-income clients apply to have certain outside fees waived.
