Our Financial Management Assistance Program is here to help guide older adults toward a more secure and independent life. This program helps individuals better understand and manage their finances, create budgets, and maintain control over their financial well-being. With the support of carefully selected volunteers, we assist older adults in staying safely in their homes, avoiding scams and financial abuse, accessing helpful resources, and strengthening their economic security—especially for those living on a fixed income.

We Can Assist With…

Our trained staff and dedicated volunteers can visit you at home or preferred location to provide personalized support and guidance with any financial matters you may need help navigating. Topics include but are not limited to:

  • Balancing a checkbook

  • Communicate and work with creditors

  • Complete simple insurance forms and other basic financial paperwork

  • Link with community resources.

  •  Live within your income by creating a manageable budget

  • Paying bills

  • Reviewing bank and other statements
