Kaitlyn (Katie) Lathrop is a dedicated Staff Paralegal at the Center for Elder Law & Justice in the PrideLaw program. With a strong commitment to advocating for the vulnerable and those in need, Katie's career has been defined by her passion for justice and community service. Before joining the Center for Elder Law & Justice, Katie gained invaluable experience as an Administrative Assistant at Haven House, a domestic violence shelter operated by Child & Family Services, where she worked from 2020 to 2023. During her time there, she assisted with providing critical support to survivors of domestic violence, helping them access essential resources. Katie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Affairs from SUNY Empire State College, which she earned in 2018. She further enhanced her legal expertise by obtaining a Paralegal Certification from Bryant & Stratton College in 2022. Outside of her professional life, Katie enjoys attending concerts, traveling to new destinations, and spending quality time at home with her family, including her beloved kitty, Lily.
