On Thursday April 10, 2025 the Court entered a preliminary injunction in Engesser which can be downloaded here.  NYLAG posted Frequently Asked Questions about the injunction. The injunction and FAQ refer to paper timesheets that can be used through April 26, 2025. On April 14, 2025, The Department of Health launched a hotline to assist CDPAP participants with contacting PPL and/or their MCO/LDSS. CDPAP participants may contact DOH directly by calling 1-833-947-8666 or by emailing statewidefi@health.ny.govThe hotline is open 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday except for NYS holidays.  DOH also posted guidance for consumers with scripts for those requesting to return to their prior FI because they or their PAs are not yet enrolled in PPL.

CDPAP participants may also contact NYLAG’s CDPAP hotline at 212-946-0359 or cdpaplawsuit@nylag.org with issues or problems.  When possible and with the caller’s consent, we will escalate specific cases to the Department of Health.

You can read more about the case here: https://nylag.org/engesser/.
